Rewards Trip

This term as our reward trip we went bowling with pupils who have achieved both good class charts results and attendance. For the trip, students were given options to choose where they wanted to go, and bowling was chosen. These trips are a good motivator for pupils to improve their behaviour and attendance. We have these trips before every break and it’s nice to see new faces go each time as they show improvement.

At Mary Astell we continue to have our star of the week and subject stars for those who show good behaviour in lessons. Staff try and look at the improvement pupils show so we have a variety of people who receive the award and the positive feedback to go along with it. We now also give out an award to good attenders to continue to motivate them and others to attend daily.
